    Yet another great post. Transforming Christ into a temptress was an amusing bit but I can’t imagine it wasn’t scandalous back then.

      Funny that you should mention. Once March Melies Madness ends, I’ve plans for a post involving something I discovered about his more controversial films. More accurately, the films Melies understood as having the potential for scandal and undesired repercussions.
